Patrick Gibbs Daily Telegraph (UK) Peter Blackmore, the author, has managed a sequel, Mad About Men, in which the comedy is kept going, surprisingly; and Miss Johns is there again to play Miranda as if she enjoyed every minute of it. Sep 14, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

Frances H Although extremely corny, these two films were favorites when I was a child. Now I'd watch them for Margaret Rutherford alone! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/08/20 Full Review Audience Member good cheeky UK rom-com Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member I caught this on TV once about twenty years ago and it has become one of my all-time favourite movies. A sequel to 'Miranda', this enchanting comic fantasy boasts a great British cast, and the script is packed with double entendres. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member this fishy sequel (to Miranda) finds miranda again played by johns falling 4 another human! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member A 1955 mermaid film, a sequel to Miranda who is the Mermaid. This is a very enjoyable comedy. This is what comedy once was, nice clean and enjoyable. The filth that is put on the screen today and called comedy. In this one a Mermaid is an look alike to a girl who is visiting a fishing community. She takes the place of the girl while the girl travels by bike through the countryside, doing such things as eliminating her fiancée, and finding other men who fall in love with her. But will the mermaid get caught by the town snoop. You have to watch it to find out. 4 Stars Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Adorable sequel to Miranda wih Glynis Johns, stunningly platinum blonde, again the sly minx mermaid with a impish sense of humor and a passion for men. Margaret Rutherford is happily back aboard as the dithering sidekick. A charming enterprise. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews
