Ard Vijn ScreenAnarchy Instead of settling for silly sex film or gory sensationalism, "Madame O" actually turns into an artful psychological thriller, complete with a riveting finale. Jan 17, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member I needed to see this because it was a controversial classic from Japan. I love how the tagline is "she fought for medicine ... and the destruction of men." Too bad there were no subtitles on the copy I saw, so it was overdubbed in English which gave it a melodramatic feel but did add to some humourous moments that may have been caused by translation problems. All in all, it was pretty enjoyable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
