Madame X had some very heavy artistic elements and themes, and while the album itself isn't one of my personal favourites, the visuals take it much higher than the audio standing alone. But then again, that's a well-known quality of Madonna's: elevating the experience of her music through stunning visuals. If you're not, some of this might be a little difficult to digest, but it's probably worth a try anyway.
