I thought the main actress Jamie Auld did an amazing job portraying Madonna. I really enjoyed this film as a fan of Madonna. Really cool to learn she was in a band and played instruments. I think that Jamie Auld had a striking resemblance to Madonna too. Sad to see she passed away at age 26. She was a talented actress.

The cast is great as the actors really look like the people they are supposed to portray. Costume design is accurate too! Photography is nice and audio is great. Now, the interviews are wholesome and sometimes even nostalgic. I loved it.

What I was shocked to read the reviews anyone who is a real madonna fan will enjoy this very candid early story it was not about capturing the 80's or nyc it was about her relationships with the people who brought her into music.. a must see for real madonna fans

A touching story about Madonna's early years as a struggling performer in NYC. I enjoyed learning about her relationships with the band mates who taught her about music and noticed her star quality early on. I was surprised how hard she had to work and how close she came to giving up before becoming a household name. I think this would be a touching story even if its main character wasn't a superstar.
