I never heard of this movie. I saw it starred Jon Hamm and Tina Fey and was curious. I watched the trailer and got more curious. This is a small quirky movie and I liked it. It has a Fargo vibe. Micah Stock is very good in the role of the husband. Hamm is actually great in the role of the Sheriff. Fey is always good. The supporting cast is good. I like Nick Mohammed as the Deputy. Well Directed.

Funny and dramatic and poignant. A nice diverse cast and that should have gotten it an Oscar nomination. But seriously, this movie started slowly but it tied up lose ends by the end. It wasn't lightening in a bottle but don't throw the baby out with the bath. Some new faces that all brought something to the party. This writer director has a nice start!

Deserves a little more credit than people are giving it. It's not laugh out loud humour, but it is constantly darkly amusing. Similarly it's not major plot twist drama, but it's enough to keep you entertained all along the way All the actors all do an excellent job. This movie won't blow your socks off, but in an era over overblown disappointments this one won't leave you disappointed. Worth the watch.

I really enjoyed this movie until the last few minutes. They killed off a character that didn't need to die. It didn't fit the rest of the movie, and changed the whole feel of it. The rest of the movie, even with all the murders, felt like a dark comedy. The last few minutes were way too serious and sad.

Peacock says this is a comedy but 15-20 minutes in, nothing but weirdness that involves woman stalked and killed and child porn and a guy setting up his wife to be killed. Online, people are saying it's a "dark comedy". It's evidently so dark that no comedy can be found. Are writers today no longer able to write comedy? I'm surprised to see Hamm and Fey involved in such a waste.
