Claire S Absolutely dreadful English accents. Storyline was cute, but not a lot going for it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/22/24 Full Review Audience Member It's not bad, but it's failing to balance "TV movie" with "documentary" properly and although it has 2 moments where you can see hints of the magical mind of JKR, this movie is about as fun as a deflated balloon. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Absolutely inspirational and completely amazing. I love the back story in how JK Rowling came up for some of the ideas in the Harry Potter Books Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Seriously a really awesome movie! Met beyond my expectations. I loved every bit of it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member A good depiction of her story, and where she had gotten the ideas for Harry Potter from. A good nod to the writer. Not a regular rise to fame story Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Magic Beyond Words: The J.K. Rowling Story is an interesting dramatization on the life of author J.K. Rowling that's worth a watch to witness the efforts and conflicts she faced, all leading up to the creation of the Harry Potter saga Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

David Hinckley New York Daily News The drama of Rowling's life, while powerful to her, seems fairly mild by TV biopic standards.
