Thom Ernst Original Cin This quietly compelling film, thought weirdly titled (Google its Tarot card connection), convincingly charts a man moving beyond a legacy of addiction. Nov 7, 2020 Full Review Craig Takeuchi Georgia Straight In a time period without any shortage of troubles, it's therapeutic to watch someone attempt to build a new life out of the collapsed mess of an old one, regardless of whatever life unexpectedly throws in the way. Oct 26, 2020 Full Review Charles Koplinski Reel Talk with Chuck and Pam There's an intimacy to this film that's difficult to achieve and the fly-on-the-wall aesthetic Melrod creates effectively underscores the power of Dink's plight and ultimately, the poignancy that develops around it. Quiet, but memorable. Rated: 3.0/4.0 Oct 16, 2020 Full Review Lisa Trifone Third Coast Review When you're looking for ways to support your local cinema through a virtual rental, look to options other than Major Arcana. Rated: 1/4 Oct 10, 2020 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue Slight yet sharply observed, this evocative redemption story is more emotionally impactful than its easygoing vibe would suggest. Oct 9, 2020 Full Review Robert Horton The Scarecrow "Not the precious object it might first appear; the film has a goofed-up strain of humor and a great ear for hostile dialogue." Mary M This movie grabbed me from the beginning and never let go. I reveled in its slow, sumptuous tempo and elegantly quiet pace. Talented cast, incredible music—-something almost sacred about this movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/09/23 Full Review AnnMichele N I am a blockbuster action escapism movie fan, yet this film totally captured my attention from beginning to end. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/14/23 Full Review george m Don't waste your time watching this film. Kept waiting for it to make some sense, or even go somewhere, and it just didn't ever get there. If you want to get depressed, watch this film. It's a dog, it's 88 minutes of your life that you can never get back. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
