There's an intimacy to this film that's difficult to achieve and the fly-on-the-wall aesthetic Melrod creates effectively underscores the power of Dink's plight and ultimately, the poignancy that develops around it. Quiet, but memorable.

Don't waste your time watching this film. Kept waiting for it to make some sense, or even go somewhere, and it just didn't ever get there. If you want to get depressed, watch this film. It's a dog, it's 88 minutes of your life that you can never get back.
