Dallas H This documentary offers an exciting peek into the window of the special effects makeup artists who helped launch a new chapter in science fiction movie making. They helped revitalize a genre suffering in the gutter of B-movie production quality. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/24 Full Review Laura M This documentary is for fans of the Planet of the Apes, fans of make up art, and anyone who has been alive on this planet anytime after 1960. I watch a lot of documentary style videos, like learning about different things and how things happened or worked. This film did not disappoint. In fact it was so engaging and not overly technical. Respect was given to the fact that these were artists creating something that no one else had ever done. They did it so well that they changed the industry of movies, TV and even espionage. Add this to you list of movies to watch. I don't mean if you have nothing better to do, actively watch it. I'm sure you will be as impressed as I am!
