This is a three-handkerchief movie, all right, but for the nose. It stinks. Go to Full Review

This movie has some of the worst dialogue one can imagine: She: 'What about passion?' He: 'What about support?' She: 'What about betrayal?' Go to Full Review

Linda T 04/30/2024 I though for it's time, this was a very good movie. This was ground breaking. It should get better recognition. Though not a perfect film, making love offers three excellently performances by Kate Jackson Michael ontkean and Harry Hamlin. Jackson especially was very moving empathetic and believable. Yes, it does have some cliched dialogue but the story is a positive one about being true to your own sexuality and living an honest life. There' was nothing quite like it at the time and I really appreciate it as it helped me with my own struggle. For once, the homosexual character did not commit suicide or turn to drugs and alcohol or have a miserable life. Groundbreaking in its own way. With a beautiful title song by Roberta Flack the boot.
