I yearned for more facts about Clift's involvement in such classics as Red River, I Confess, and Wild River, though the passages about how he sculpted his performances in The Search and Judgment at Nuremberg speak to his impeccable craft.

The picture painted of Clift in the film is a funny, vibrant, expressive person who valued his privacy and his craft equally... After others printed the legend for so long, his nephew does an admirable job assembling the truth.

This was interesting documentary by Montgomery Cliff's nephew exploring how information on a famous personage is handled throughout the years. Cliff's brother was volumes of paper information but, more than that, we umpteen numbers of recorded interviews and phone conversations. How should this "movie star" be remembered and intrerpreted today.
