Audience Member Ultimately, "I Love a Man in Uniform" is an interesting character driven movie that can't make it past a bland storyline and somewhat weak dialogue. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Surprisingly thrilling B-movie with a rather innovative story (compared to others). Pretty good actors, too. It just tries to wear too many hats⦠Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member What a fascinating film. Tom Mc Camus delivers a remarkable performance. Very nicely directed, good editing, excellent pace and character development. I love how reality and fantasy blurr together in the film, very skillfully done. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member A somewhat intriguing and fairly effective study of monomania, I Love a Man in Uniform demonstrates what can happen when a man stumbles across power dressing. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member What a fascinating film. Tom Mc Camus delivers a remarkable performance. Very nicely directed, good editing, excellent pace and character development. I love how reality and fantasy blurr together in the film, very skillfully done. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member The Million Dollar Hotel was very good and enjoyable because it A) was fun, and B) portrayed a very sincere, basic and innocent type of love and lovability. I missed some of the ending because there were no commercials and I really really needed to go to the bathroom, but that's ok, the ending was not important in any way and I could not care less about it. I checked out a couple of those reviews you see by clicking the name of the film, and the word they most often offered was "pretentious". This here film was not pretentious by any means, in fact, it was noticebly sincere. Despite the quirky characters and looks, the subject matter was very straight-forward. I can see how these ever so artsy film critics, with their honed craft for seeking out hidden meanings and social commentary from anything they set their eyes upon, can get frustrated not getting what the official law of quirky films promises them. A Man In Uniform was also very nice. About an actor who plays a cop in a tv-series and gets a little carried away by the role. I can't think of the right words to describe the exact style of this film but nevertheless I like it. Song of the day is: Rilo Kiley - With Arms Outstretched A question: How do I make it so that I don't have to put a seperate link so the title is the link? UPDATE: thanks, it worked! Rilo Kiley like to make very catchy, anthemic, happy pop-rock tunes. I didn't much like their latest album More Adventurous. But this song With Arms Outstretched is from their previous one Execution Of All Things which I did like and very much so. The kind of sing-along stuff you should have at events such as the Eurovision song contest, you know...instead of the usual camp-humor (I was today casually watching some..how do you say it...preliminaries. Completely hilarious, but still a joke that does wear off and becomes more...scary). Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
