Audience Member On paper this was good - but this wasn't on paper. Buy only for the Campbell commentary - that's 5 star! Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member bruce campbell made two amazing movies. This is not one of them. Theres is one really good cat fight though. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member I did not purchase this thinking it was going to be an Oscar movie like 'Annie Hall', but still I'm disappointed. I would have been happy with 'Mallrats' or 'The Rhino Brothers'. I got much less. By the end of the movie there were no scenes that popped out to me, no dialogue that resonated within me. Even 'Hostel' had a classic line for petes sake! I do not recommend this movie. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member This film tries too hard to be the typical Bruce Campbell film. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member The perfet B-movie, with all the elements you've been dying to see - and more! Bruce Campbell and Ted Raimi are seriously underrated actors. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Bruce Campbell should just stick to acting. This film just feels cheap (it's a TV movie) and slow moving. Bear in mind, it took Bruce 18 years to get this film made. Was it worth the effort? Well, I suppose since Bruce spent most of his life trying to get this film made. The jokes are......... meh. Some are funny like Bruce's slapstick, others like Ted Raimi's character is just............. ugh. It's quite dull and defiantly not for all Bruce fans. However, Antoinette Byron is good as Bruce's wife and so is Stacy Keach as the doctor. The music's dreadful and unmemorable. The action, not exciting. Overall the movie is just okay. You might as well rent the Evil Dead films or Bubba Ho-Tep instead. My Name is Bruce is much better though. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

John Monaghan Detroit Free Press The image of Campbell slapping himself to the ground is the only gag that the movie doesn't beat to death. Rated: 2/4 Jul 22, 2005 Full Review Richard Nilsen Arizona Republic The film tries very hard to be over the top, wacky and camp, but instead, it's flat as stale O'Doul's. Rated: 1.5/5 Jul 14, 2005 Full Review Mark de la Viña San Jose Mercury News An unapologetically sloppy jumble of Roger Corman-style antics that could only hope to inspire their own drinking game. Rated: 1/4 Jun 25, 2005 Full Review Felix Vasquez Jr. Cinema Crazed Doesn't suffer because it's mostly a bad film, it suffers because it's a bad film without direction or a point... Apr 29, 2009 Full Review Rob Gonsalves Rob's Movie Vault A decent and diverting piece of work from perhaps the hardest-working man in movies. Rated: B Sep 27, 2007 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...required viewing for fans of the B-movie superstar. Rated: 2.5/4 May 6, 2006 Full Review Read all reviews
