The image of Campbell slapping himself to the ground is the only gag that the movie doesn't beat to death. Go to Full Review

The film tries very hard to be over the top, wacky and camp, but instead, it's flat as stale O'Doul's. Go to Full Review

Melissa M Mar 11 Now this is how you make a horror movie. One of the awesomest horror comedies of all time. It's imaginative & fresh. Bruce Campbell is the King of Camp. This film proves you don't need a lot of digital effects, cgi, or AI to make a film. You don't need a lot of blood & gore. Or gratuitous sex & violence to make a horror film. All you need is a good script. And a little imagination. Hollywood could take a lesson from this movie. When Bruce Campbell makes a movie he never disappoints. He makes movies that are worth watching more than once. Stacy Keach it's really good at playing offbeat roles. Ted Remi as Pavel it's fun to watch. If you've never seen a Bruce Campbell movie this would be a good one to start with. See more 11/03/2013 On paper this was good - but this wasn't on paper. Buy only for the Campbell commentary - that's 5 star! See more 05/28/2013 bruce campbell made two amazing movies. This is not one of them. Theres is one really good cat fight though. See more 04/06/2013 I did not purchase this thinking it was going to be an Oscar movie like 'Annie Hall', but still I'm disappointed. I would have been happy with 'Mallrats' or 'The Rhino Brothers'. I got much less. By the end of the movie there were no scenes that popped out to me, no dialogue that resonated within me. Even 'Hostel' had a classic line for petes sake! I do not recommend this movie. See more 04/06/2013 This film tries too hard to be the typical Bruce Campbell film. See more 02/08/2013 The perfet B-movie, with all the elements you've been dying to see - and more! Bruce Campbell and Ted Raimi are seriously underrated actors. See more Read all reviews
