After he's given 24 hours to settle his debt with a gangster, the rakish Frank Rowlett (Dirk Benedict) robs and kills Hai Lee (Burt Kwouk), the owner of a tattoo shop. Frank may have grabbed the proprietor's cash and made financial amends, but it comes with a scary, supernatural price. A tattoo appears on his chest that begins spreading to the rest of his body, making it increasingly hard for the handsome scoundrel to return to his former irresponsible life.
