This was a very well done documentary. It came to mind due to the new Bob Marley Movie getting such negative reviews, so I saw this instead. I am so glad I did. I have always loved Bob Marley's music, but this doc really helped me understand the meaning behind it, Jamaican history and Rastafarian culture. 91/100. I highly recommend this if you are looking to watch a good documentary.

Life spanning documentary of Bob Marley, from his childhood, to his interest in music and forming a band and becoming known worldwide for his music and Rastafarian lifestyle. Fascinating story with interviews from family, friends and band members. Fantastic footage of performances as well as stock footage of interviews from Marley himself. Must see for fans or even for fans of music in general.

Excellent documentary about the legendary Bob Marley. From his upbringing, to how he got into music and all the way thru featuring scenes from concerts and up 'til his death, with lots of interviews from the people who knew him best. Must see for fans of Marley and reggae music(or just music period really).
