      Marlon Wayans: God Loves Me

      2023 59 min. Comedy Stand-Up List
Reviews 74% 50+ Ratings Audience Score Filmed at the Center Stage Theater in Atlanta, Wayans delivers a hilarious hour-long performance, unleashing his spot-on impressions and fearless physical comedy to address one of the most infamous recent events in pop culture -- "the slap" that took place at the 94th Academy Awards® ceremony. With his inimitable blunt and boisterous style, Wayans skillfully weaves anecdotes from his own life with stories about his long-time friends, from divulging his teenage crush on Jada Pinkett Smith, getting humbled by Chris Rock in an early stand-up set, and examining the impact of Will Smith's long career. A daring tour-de-force, this special is a hysterical yet thoughtful exploration of friendship, family, mistakes, and redemption. Read More Read Less

Divine Seamoss M Loved it! Honestly he spoke so much facts. It wasn't all jokes and that's what i loved about it. So much wisdom came outta this show. Give this man his flowers he's an amazing comedian, producer, actor, and more. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/21/23 Full Review Christina T Masterfully done! I laughed heartily throughout. It was a different approach I was not expecting. Woven together beautifully from start to finish. If you haven't seen "God Loves Me", you are missing out! Go watch it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/06/23 Full Review Joacim Long time since i laughed som much at a comedy special 😂 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/29/23 Full Review Maria l It might have taken Marlon a little longer to get here. But instead of peaking in his 20's, 50 looks good on him, He is funnier than ever and it feels like the best is yet to come. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/25/23 Full Review Michael J Hilarious!! You can see how comfortable Marlon has become as a stand up. Saw his stand up in person with his brother Shawn in B'ham years ago. Love him and his fam! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/24/23 Full Review Tony W This was the worst comedy special I have seen in a while. Marlon needs to hang up the gloves. Jokes did not land, just downright unfunny. I would skip this one for sure. Whoever said stream it is sadly misleading you. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Sean L. McCarthy Decider Marlon now can thank Chris for roasting him as a young comic, thank Will for taking all those movie roles that he had unsuccessfully auditioned for, and Jada for teaching him about love. Mar 9, 2023 Full Review Dustin Rowles Pajiba It’s a ferocious but hilarious love letter to two men who hopefully will not spend the rest of their careers defined by The Slap.
