Sasmit G This was a romantic comedy without romance or comedy. Couldn't connect with a single character in the movie, all of them are good actors and did their part right but it doesn't hold up. Nate is shown as the underdog, simple guy, loveable but he doesn't get the girl. I think i lost interest in movie after the coffee with Rhys. Movie plot 1 _0_1 route for underdog. Rhys could have been a bully brother or heartless types who hooks up with nates ex. Nate n the female lead could have worked on store problem together. Fall in love eventually. The characters served little-to-no purpose in propelling the plot forward, existing just to be agreed with or disagreed with. The conflict seemed easy to resolve and there was no explanation for why it wasn't.
