Marshmallow is a wonderful coming of age camp movie with the right amount of scare, endearing characters and a great twist! We can all relate to the awkwardness that comes with being a young teen and the friends we make who help us through these times. We absolutely loved this film.

This film started off a very generic camp slasher movie, I wasn’t fully invested as those kind of movies never really do much for me unless they do something completely different and shocking and once Marshmallow does this it raises the stakes and had me on the edge of my seat. The characters are fairly generic but it works and the child actors do a fairly decent job as that can be make or break for movies with child leads.
