Leslie Felperin Guardian The best you could say of this drippy sequel to Maya the Bee is that it's better than its predecessor by the finest of fuzzy bee hairs. Rated: 2/5 Apr 6, 2018 Full Review Renee Schonfeld Common Sense Media Delightful tale will inspire and engage; mild suspense. Rated: 4/5 May 8, 2018 Full Review Adrián Carande Cinemanía (Spain) Well-meaning, but doesn't end up showing us anything new. StephenPaul C LOL, the funniest 01 hour: and 25 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/04/23 Full Review Chris M Again, there is nothing remotely close to real bees in this movie, except Bees like and make honey. That's it. There is no Bee Empress that resides over all bees and can order a bee queen around. Plus the misfit team being the only chance to win and save something is a common underdog sports story. This is the first one with bees (that I am aware of). Because losing means the death of the hive from starvation. There are character issues to a point. Again, fun for little-little kids but older kids and adults might find it less fun. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/14/23 Full Review Audience Member enjoyable family movie and story with a play on the hunger games Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member There are few redeeming qualities in this film. “The cartoon you are about to see is a product of it’s time. It may depict some of the ethnic and racial prejudices that were commonplace in society.” Oh wait!! This was made in 2018. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/20 Full Review Audience Member A really entertaining movie. Maybe for adults the movie is too light but I think for kids is good.
