Audience Member I am always surprised at the sheer volume of films that are essentially excluded from the American market. This movie, MBA Partners, or ????? is another example. The summary in "movie info" describes a fraction of the movie's content. But on to the review. The main star here is Yao Chen, who plays a young person with big plans in the business world. That she is in fact a woman runs her up against big male business interests who do not wish her well, and also an overweening professor who ranks somewhere between a woman hater and seducer. There is also competition between the women protagonists to contend with. The "Chinese characteristics" ot his movie include the intense desire and work ethic on the part of the protagonists, the unforgiving onslaughts of Chinese social media, and the imperious male-driven business climate in Shanghai.
