The final result is not a joke, it’s actually quite awesome, with insanely dangerous action sequences, and a final product that deserves its name of McBain. Go to Full Review

Fortunately, it’s the sort of so-bad-it’s-enjoyably-bad film that allows viewers to create their own in-house riff tracks. Go to Full Review

McBain is earnest and tries to accentuate the idea that a person can be brave and step up and really make a difference with their life. Go to Full Review

Lots of vehicles and huts blow up while Walken stands around in a white hat and underacts, stuck in a role any fifth-rate direct-to-video action hunk could have scowled through. Go to Full Review

Macaulay G Jun 4 McBain absolutely rocks! See more 08/07/2023 The movie has more than enough great actors and apparently has enough budget but the script and directing suck. McBain fires a round from a pistol from the copilot seat past the pilot through the window and takes out a fighter jet pilot beside their plane. that pretty much ruined the whole movie because it was so goofy and we saw no cockpit windows broken. they spent a lot of money on this movie but they had a lot of issues on it. See more Steve D 02/24/2023 Just interesting enough to work. See more 05/21/2021 Terrible, just terrible ! See more brendan n 11/06/2020 McBain is one of those films that lack plot and character. This feels like a Cannon product and the strong character actors are left with nothing. I had presumed The Simpsons had stolen the character of McBain but this wasn't the case and this was just a badly created film without any connection. Christopher Walken is actually good in the lead and he is missed every time they skip his scenes. The filmmaker feels unsure of his talents and what's provided here is just endless body counts without substance. This era was known for low quality films but this is a different kind. I feel people may enjoy it but I found it all over the place and when it should've been coming together, it actually falls apart. McBain fell onto my Amazon list and I remember wanting to view this while I was younger. I probably should've watched it then as Canon were main stays from the video store and I had zero idea of quality. 05/11/2020 See more 08/06/2020 I liked it, there are some great quotes from Walken in the film. It gets kinda unbelievable toward the ending but overall good. Michael Ironsides is great I've always liked his style. See more Read all reviews
