Synopsis
This documentary profiles seven world-class scientists who discuss their careers, obsessions and inspirations. Among them, physicist Michio Kaku explains his fascination with string theory while reflecting on his childhood as a Japanese-American. Primatologist Patricia Wright describes her first trip to the jungles of Madagascar and her enchantment with the lemurs living there. Chemist Gertrude Elion never completed her doctorate, but nonetheless won a Nobel Prize for her pioneering research.
