After being abducted by a stranger, a young woman wakes up in a maze where she is forced to move through a series of narrow tunnels in order to escape from deadly traps (fire, acid, and also ravenous zombies). "Meander" is a horror survival movie with sci-fi elements. Its compelling visuals and claustrophobic environment compensate for the lack of a more complex narrative. The trope reminds us of the cult favourite film "Cube" (1997). An example of a simple plot that excels in its execution!
