In an impoverished Singapore slum, a shy noodle vendor (Joe Ng) becomes infatuated with Bunny (Michelle Goh), a prostitute he often sees working near his noodle cart. Bunny doesn't respond to his advances, however, and instead becomes involved with Jonathan (David Brazil), a sleazy pornographer. Things shift when a car hits Bunny on the street, and the noodle vendor takes her to his apartment to nurse her back to health, opening up to his new friend along the way.

Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Eric Khoo first film debut. Tragic but real. Can tell that this is the film that leads up to 12 storeys. Love the cinematography and editing. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member heard so much about this film but when i finally got my hands on the dvd and persuaded myself to watch it, i found it sadly disappointing.. didn't quite like the storyline and felt that the ending could have been much better.. still don't get why she suddenly wanted to have sex with him and then die in the midst of it.. hmm.. a bit too strange for me i guess. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member the plot turned out to be quite freaky but i liked the choice of subject matter and the dark and gritty feel that gives a lot of realism. an excellent debut from eric khoo.
