Christina Milian and Devale Ellis are adorable. That’s the whole movie in a nutshell. Nothing else has to work in order to get what we need out of it. Pentatonix can’t even play themselves convincingly, at all, and it still doesn’t hurt this thing.

Unfortunately, [Pentatonix] only has about ten minutes of screen time, and the rest of the film is a madcap adventure of a grown woman obsessively trying to get tickets for a Pentatonix show that’s, at best, silly, and at worst, absolute nonsense.

Very silly and some of the pentatonix parts were vaguely annoying, but a surprisingly heartwarming and enjoyable film despite this! I was rooting for the couple, which is my main requirement for a romcom 😂 it won't be something I watch every year, but some light-hearted Christmas fun.

My expectations were not high, expecting a cheesy, poorly acted, Hallmark style flop. I was pleasantly surprised. I felt the cast were well chosen and the story, although fairly predictable, was far less flat than I thought it would be. It was nice to see the obvious love connection's character grow and become unearthed as we were taken through a bizarre serious of events. Milian's character was very positive and endearing and from the start I wanted to see something good happen for her. Pentatonix were also very amusing and it was nice to have an unanswered question with 'the other guy' towards the end. I suspect this may go on our annual list of Christmas movies to watch on the run up to Christmas.

Loved this film! The couple, the music, the romance. The Drag Queens! The guy who plays the cousin is hilarious and Christina and Devale are so great together. Yes - it's a stretch to say you will meet someone one year later to see if you can hook up and fall in love. But not as much as a snow man coming to life. The other new Netflix flick. Not sure why the critics were so much more into that one and not this. Plus this has Pentatonix, and they sing!
