Leticia q I can't make it this is the worst Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Bad special effects and bad script that is all this show needed. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member What a total waste of Andy Lau's talent. This is a really bad film with too much noticeable digital effects, and a terrible direction and screenplay by Jing Wong. Even though there is action, there is no fun with a lot of stupid characters and embarrassing dialogue. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member This should be a poor Power Rangers with Andy Lau. For starters, the film tried too hard to recreate a futuristic landscape, so much so that everything looked extremely rote, sterile and repetitive, and goes to show just how much the East has to catch up with the West in terms of an effects-laden picture. The visual effects are hilarious awful and director Wong Jing's kills with CGI has not improved. The film's first big action sequence provides a weak mix of 'futuristic plot holes' and bad 'character development', all of which threaten to scupper the entire project until a potential surprise that goes for the heartstrings. Other than the action, the romance here between Lau and Barbie Hsu reeked and was totally unbelievable, with romantic subplots of other characters being even worse. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Watching this movie was a painful experience with the poor story and execution. Andy Lau and Bingbing Fan's performance would probably be the only thing that might stop you from the tempting "STOP" button on your remote control.
