Rozy R May 22 Sam Neil was awesome as usual. I found if it didn't have him in it though i probably wouldn't have bothered watching it at all. Its a shame he was only in it 4 s short time aswell. I found the wording in the script alittle confusing at times aswell and the movie itself alittle boring at times aswell too. It didn't keep me on the edge of my seat wanting to c more, rather it made me fast forward through some of the most boring parts and ended up putting me to sleep a few times.Its a real shame as I feel a new updated version of this with some decent writers could actually b made into something brilliant. And with today's special effects aswell. We could only imagine. I felt sadly it was alittle bit of a let down even 4 it's time. I wouldn't watch this version again and can only hope someone does one day decide 2 make a better one. See more 11/22/2011 If it was possible to give this movie less than 1/2 star rating, I would. Also, if it was possible to get that three hours of my life back, I would but I'm afraid that is equally impossible. I do need to congratulate the film for holding the title of "Worst Film I've Ever EVER Seen." Not many movies can fail quite as entirely as Merlin's Apprentice has and that's a talent in and of itself, really.
