02/20/2017 Being something of a mark for most things Matthew Lillard, I had run across this on cable scheduling and recorded it ages ago, so I finally sat down with it and gave it a look this afternoon. The upshot is that Lillard is a screenwriting teacher who is forced to play out the plot from one of his screenplays, which was apparently something he stole from a student, and it's all just a bit too corny and dumb, even with an actor that I kinda like as the lead. Rental at best, but mostly a pass on this turkey. See more 06/21/2015 For a script about scriptwriting, they certainly made a generic script, cliches, predictable ending with terrible dialogue.
