Laura Hiros Rincón de cine A film with an interesting plot and excellent performances, although with ups and downs and a somehow forced plot. In general a film that keeps its audience entertained and offers lively and well-cared-for cinematography. [Full Review in Spanish] Rated: 3/5 Aug 9, 2024 Full Review Shikhar Verma High on Films Midas is a fairly enjoyable caper that knows what buttons to push to make a straightforward thriller. Aug 7, 2024 Full Review Jeffrey Lyles Lyles' Movie Files Midas probably needed one more coat of polish with the script to truly shine. It’s close, really close to successfully pulling off this dramatic heist with personal stakes. Rated: 6.5/10 Jun 28, 2024 Full Review Al Alexander Movies Thru the Spectrum I can’t say I wasn’t intrigued, nor was I ever bored – just exasperated, particularly during a huge third-act twist that is tossed in more for effect than meaning. This is where Copeland’s endless charm and appeal charges to the rescue. Rated: B- Jun 27, 2024 Full Review Alan Ng Film Threat Fun and light with characters you can root for. Rated: 7/10 Jun 25, 2024 Full Review Don Shanahan Film Obsessive In true caper film fashion, Midas builds clever suspense through organized planning, close calls, and ever-escalating stakes. Sheryl L Ending had no value at all. It was as if the writer(s) got stumped and just quickly wrapped it up with an ending that made no sense. It closes as the main character learned nothing from the experience and goes on through his life as a flim flam man, constantly trying to convince them to risk their lives for him. There were other smaller details that just didn't make sense. Sloppy writing/directing. How did they get the money to push this mess?! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/02/24 Full Review Chris C Loved this movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/19/24 Full Review Tracey H So good. Non stop laughter and keeps you on edge. I recommend this movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/06/24 Full Review Sammy J An awesome film with a great cast and plot! I loved the spin this heist film had particularly with shining a light on the health industry! The lead actor is a joy to watch with an astounding supporting cast to match! Highly recommend!
