Robert Abele Los Angeles Times Mildness reigns and indifference blooms. What calls out to be well seasoned — a dish with bits that are scorched and raw — is instead merely a tepid porridge. Feb 24, 2025 Full Review Richard Roeper Chicago Sun-Times “Millers in Marriage” is all about how one navigates the second extended act of one’s adult life. Rated: 3/4 Feb 21, 2025 Full Review Matt Zoller Seitz RogerEbert.com The problem with this movie is not that the characters are comfortable. The problem is that none of them seem to realize how comfortable they are, and the movie rarely does, either. Rated: 1.5/4 Feb 21, 2025 Full Review Will Bjarnar InSession Film This is a film by the talented, pleased-to-be-aimless Edward Burns, a meandering stroll on Central Park West where we aren’t even afforded the excitement of getting mugged. Rated: D Mar 20, 2025 Full Review Max Gao Elle Millers captures a latter stage of adulthood that might only make sense to those who have already experienced it, but the concept of never settling for anything less than one believes they deserve is a message that will resonate across generations. Mar 12, 2025 Full Review Alan Ng Film Threat If there had been more hope or a chance for the characters to grow and change, it would have been a much more engaging and satisfying story. Bob L We watched Lion the day before this movie, and watching this was the most self loathing, depressing movie we have watched in ages. You literally leave this movie fully depressed. All the actors are good - don’t get me wrong - but there is basically no story arc and everyone ends up broken up. If the goal was to make the audience melancholy, well, they nailed it. The only redeeming quality of this movie was in the architecture and visuals of the countryside and cobblestone and brick facades the viewer sees. Unfortunate, as I like Ed Burns and the rest of the cast. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/17/25 Full Review Tom M I've seen almost every Edward Burns movie since Brothers McMullen. This one was superb. Acting was top notch and the dialogue was spot on. I'd def watch this one again. Great job Mr. Burns. Tom M NYC Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/15/25 Full Review Matthew P Aspires to mediocrity and never quite reaches it... Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/01/25 Full Review Audience Member HOW does an all star cast have any interest in a movie so poorly written, so poorly shot and so poorly underscored? This is one of the most sophomoric movies I’ve seen in a long time. The story arc is so cliche and cringy leading to such poor acting that I cannot even begin to understand how it got 56% on Rotton Tomatoes. And don’t even get me started on the most low budget Casio keyboard score. You can just see the pianist making it up on the spot as they watch this unwatchable movie. Is ChatGPT a thing for scores? PLEASE do yourself a favor and skip this movie. You can thank me later for getting 2 hours of your life back. UGH, it just makes me so mad thinking about how bad it was all over again! Hard, hard pass. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/01/25 Full Review Yasmin F Excellent movie! I just thought it lacked development of the other characters like Scott and Nick. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/28/25 Full Review Yasmin C great films with wonderful actors and a great director! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/25 Full Review Read all reviews
