Jack F Apr 16 A parallel to the life of Jesus Christ in a ingenious way. See more Jeff G Feb 18 If stiff, wooden dialogue and acting are your bag, you've come to the right place! The shame is that the premise is good; is this guy for real or not? The soundtrack, sparse sets, and character interaction have a Hallmark feel. I can imagine this film's director watching old episodes of Dragnet thinking, "That's how you do it!" The mind reader is part of a vaudeville-style show in 1974 in anytown USA. There's a local magician's union who are obsessed with the mindreader's act. They are the pharisees to the mindreader's Jesus. They lack faith. In the right hands this could have had the feel of a Twilight Zone episode. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. This film is what happens when a few high school kids get together and say "hey, let's make a film"! And then they hire their teachers as the actors, and someone who looks like White Evangelical Jesus, with blond hair. As a high school film project, it's passable, I guess. As a feature film showing on Amazon? Ha, probably the worst film I've ever seen. See more Read all reviews
