Brianna M 200 pounds beauty is one of my most favourite K dramas of all time. It has a compelling story about a girl who is blinded by her love, but is also insecure of herself. She wants to be loved by her crush, but she learns that even though she now has the body she wants, she needs to learn to love herself and be independent as a person. This movie genuinely made me emotional on multiple watches, and I think it might make whoever watches feel the same way too! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/23/24 Full Review Lina M This movie pulls at the heartstrings of those who loved someone, but despite physical appearance, the other person never reciprocates. This film showcases what the protagonist would do anything to get noticed, but eventually, she wakes up from that lovesick fantasy to realize that she's worth more than the infatuation. It's a must-see, plus the music is excellent too! If you experienced this, then this is the film for you. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/07/24 Full Review Reverse M The most impassionate and demonstrative depiction of the inescapable conflict of body transitions and its aftereffects that can get as personal to reality Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/15/21 Full Review wee peng h The story is outdated, like those typical badly written Asian tv dramas I grew up watching in the 80s and 90s. Story line and ending only fit to be a low budget tv series. Don't waste your time watching this like I did. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member It was a cute movie. Not sure how it popped up on my iPhone as I was in the middle of looking at Netflix..... Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member A cute film about our reflection into society's expectations about beauty (specifically in Korea), but it falls flat in the story.
