Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/13/24 Full Review miraculous_miracle 2 This movie is a flop. It didn't work out. I mean, it didn't meet my expectations. I, of course, have high expectations for this movie for 2 reasons: 1. the show was and still is MY comfort show AND 2. the show is one of the most money-making shows EVER. It had a whole different plot line from the show. If you liked the plot line and decided to give the show a shot, you wouldn't like it since it has a WHOLE different plot. It ended a lot sooner, and revealed their identities. This is what we wanted in the show. What is the second movie going to be about if we already met the expectations of the "happy ever after" we only needed and wanted? Don't watch it. It's awful. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/29/24 Full Review Marichat F I did not like the movie, like a lot of other miraculous fans. The animation was good and I liked some of the songs (IN FRENCH) but other than that, it really sucked. I was expecting a lot, especially because it was delayed for so long so I was really disappointed. I didn't like it but I've watched it many times. I guess it's fun to watch with friends and make fun of it. The plot was just really boring and the ending was not satisfying. At all. I give it a bonus half star for the music. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/29/24 Full Review Nicole Z Love it amazing song cute romantic perfect Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/24 Full Review Tony P This is a new story to the miraculous ladybug show and it's actually amazing, the songs were really cool, like Disney style songs, and the end was somewhat interesting. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/24 Full Review Liva C This movie was abysmal. They completely destroyed everything good about the show. The plot was so stupid and overdone. The pacing was terrible. When Marinette/Ladybug sung something, it was so obvious to tell the person singing was different than the rest of the voice actors. The ending is absolute garbage and they completely destroy HawkMoth as a character. All the magic the show had was destroyed. The character designs are God awful. Plagg is just a fart gag for the entire movie and Tikki's character is abysmal. She basically forces Marinette into being ladybug. With deciding who deserved the Miraculous, they just had Plagg be like "yeah I like that one." Instead of actually testing his morale. Even the characters reveal that they're the superheroes, and nothing happens. Unlike in the show where they give an actual plot to happen. It's just meant for money. Nothing else. Never ever watch this if you like the show. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Cath Clarke Guardian The girl power message feels more afterthought than heartfelt. Rated: 2/5 Jul 25, 2023 Full Review Manuel Betancourt FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) I have no words. I was agog while watching it. Aug 17, 2023 Full Review Charles Solomon FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) This is very odd, very trite, and bad to the point of being offensive in places. Aug 17, 2023 Full Review Carla Monfort Espinof Fast-paced summer entertainment Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie is the perfect initiation for Ladybug's world without having to commit to watching zillions of episodes. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 3.5/5 Aug 16, 2023 Full Review Jennifer Green Common Sense Media Fans of the French series might nitpick some of the finer details of this version, but the film is generally loyal to the original and, what's more, it's good fun. Rated: 3/5 Aug 14, 2023 Full Review Mat Brunet AniMat's Review (YouTube) When you take the iconography out of the equation, Miraculous: Ladybug and Cat Noir, The Movie is just another boring superhero family film, only with more songs and romance that don’t do much to enhance the experience.
