Inspired by true events, QUEEN OF COAL is a story of perseverance, passion, and dreams that defy gender boundaries. Carlita became the first female miner in a town where women were forbidden from entering the main source of local income: the coal mine. A superstition held that women brought bad luck and caused cave-ins, reserving mining work exclusively for men. As a trans woman, Carlita managed to break into the mine, disrupting the system from within and sparking the flame of a revolution.

Emocionante. Tiene unas fotografías impresionantes que te te hace sentir parte de la locación. Lux Pascal es hermosa y el desarrollo de su personaje es genial. No deje la pantalla en ningun momento, cada minuto me atrapó desde distintas perspectivas. Mi mejor puntaje.

Quien entiende la idiosincrasia Argentina, entiende desde el minuto uno el conflicto real. Si me hubiera gustado dar más espacio a la resolución final, pero es una peli correcta, que habla de un tema muy sensible, y del que todavía tenemos mucho por aprender. Es una peli para aprender y comprender como la lucha individual se convierte en colectiva, y se ganan no solo derechos sino el respeto de nuestros pares, a fuerza de sacrificio, esfuerzo y convicción.
