Steve D A sanitized mess that is both too soft and filled with happy musical numbers. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/25/23 Full Review ashley h Miss Sadie Thompson is a decent film. It is about self-righteous missionary man who seeks to save the soul of a former prostitute. Rita Hayworth and Jose Ferrer give okay performances. The screenplay is a little slow in places. Curtis Bernhardt did an alright job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture because of the drama and romance. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member "The Heat Is On" alright... ;) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member LOVED! Hope they don't 'remake" this as the origional is perfect! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Rita in the twilight of her beauty, but still a troublemakrer. Some nice songs, including "The Heat is On," her last fling at a "Put the Blame on Mame" type-number. Aldo Ray! My heart be still!!! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member A forgettable film, poorly acted by all concerned with Rita Hayworth far from her screen-siren best.
