SkyRo P This was a fun film. It was a decent film, it would actually showed a teacher that actually had compassion for her students and wanted to see them thrive, and succeeded. The movie feels old only because it was created a while ago before the videography and the filming and cinematography got as good as it is now It's a little bumpy sometimes, but at the end of the day is a fun little film that I'll get you through a moment when you need something quick to watch and you just want to watch something. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/15/24 Full Review Gareth v Feel good indie dramedy. Doesn't break any new ground or take any risks but entertaining enough. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/22/23 Full Review Emma C This was so bad. I only watched it for Timothee Chalamet and even him being in the movie didn't make it good. Literally so bad constantly fast forwarding and then it was over. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 05/25/23 Full Review Sandy A Wow, a star is born in Timothée Chalamet. I couldn't keep my eyes off him. What a moving, simple, beautiful story. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/19/22 Full Review Cris D Preciosa y sencilla película de la amistad y aceptación, sostenida por sus grandes actuaciones junto a un gran soundtrack. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/15/22 Full Review Audience Member I watched it because it was mentioned in a review. Lilly Rabe gives a stunning performance, reaching levels of vulnerability, angst, loneliness, clearheadness at times, and totally muddled thinking at others, that made this movie enjoyable to view. Kristen Lopez Culturess Miss Stevens is a sensitive foray into the teacher drama that doesn't leap over convention so much as gives it a warm hug, anchored by an entrancing performance by Lily Rabe. Nov 20, 2017 Full Review Christopher Orr The Atlantic A small but likable film. Mar 16, 2017 Full Review Katie Walsh The Playlist Hart manages to capture those uniquely intimate and complicated friendships that crop up between teachers and students... Rabe does a masterful job of conveying Miss Stevens' fragility. Sep 22, 2016 Full Review Sean Mulvihill FanboyNation.com Miss Stevens is an infinitely charming movie with an emotionally honest core. Rated: 4/5 Nov 1, 2018 Full Review José Martín El antepenúltimo mohicano Undoubtedly, a tiny pearl to be discovered in an ocean of mediocrity and obscurity. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 4/5 Aug 6, 2018 Full Review Morgan Rojas Cinemacy It may not come off as very warm or funny despite its being billed as a comedy, yet Miss Stevens is a satisfying film both in front of and behind the camera.
