The satire is seems confidently put across at first but then becomes illogical and unwieldy. Kapri is aiming for a tragicomedy about rural India, but some of his visuals are straight out of a horror movie.

A concept that had a lot of room for comedy, message on superstition, mentality of village panchayats loses its focus somewhere immediately after the start. Starting with a love story, then changing the focus to village mentality and then again changing the focus to comedy, then to corruption. By the time you watch half the movie you already seem to be knowing how its going to end - boring.
