Mark Kermode Observer (UK) The audience are made to suffer through scenes that range from the uncomfortable to the unwatchable. Rated: 2/5 Jun 22, 2014 Full Review Geoffrey Macnab Independent (UK) Miss Violence is a grim tale of family dysfunction that also stands as an allegory about moral and economic decline in Greek society. Rated: 4/5 Jun 20, 2014 Full Review Peter Bradshaw Guardian It (self-evidently) does not have the humour of those movies by Lanthimos and Tsangari and by that token, less of their richness and inventiveness. But its force can't be doubted. Rated: 3/5 Jun 19, 2014 Full Review Alexa Dalby Dog and Wolf Though beautifully shot, and with great artistic merit, Miss Violence is also an unremittingly harsh, disturbing movie to watch, and it leaves its taint behind in the memory. Rated: 4/5 Jun 5, 2019 Full Review John Bleasdale CineVue A cliché-ridden slice of miserablist European exploitation. Rated: 1/5 Mar 26, 2019 Full Review Sarah Gopaul Digital Journal Though people may be tempted to frame this story in the context of Greece's debt crisis, it's important to remember Miss Violence is about power not about money. Nafis F Very slow movie. You will lose your focus in the first 30 mins. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/24 Full Review Carlos Eduardo M Simply agonizing, how nauseous I got is no joke, plus it's pretty heavy. You can feel the sadness and emptiness in the eyes of the characters, it makes you feel sorry. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/19/23 Full Review ramazan o there is much more worse tragedies in the real life but seen in theetre, man it's feel harsh, said ones. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Gianmarco R This film is morally very heavy, it is a difficult boulder to carry along the whole vision which in my opinion is too long, the film could have lasted much less and in any case be very valid and less heavy. But the film is very beautiful and very deep and to watch it you really need a great deal of patience and a great desire to take on a heavy weight. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 07/14/22 Full Review júlio a Que filme forte.. mas muito bem feito. Nossa...pesado demais. Mas foda.
