Absolutely adorable film. Clever and hilarious! Performances by Aristotle Athari and Zosia Mamet are nuanced and funny. Grace Kuhlenschmidt is superb. Molli and Max is an all-around great film and Direction by Michael Lukk is fantastic - I loved it!

The acting is top-notch and the low budget special effects work well in this context. At times it seems like a spoof of other movies like When Harry Met Sally and Before Sunrise, but with hilariously improbable science fiction and fantasy shoveled in for comedy effect. And although the context is contrived, the issues they discuss and deal with are spot-on contemporary and relatable.
