Liam D Even Though Olga Kurylenko (Erased, The November Man) is a capable action hero and Morgan Freeman (Edison, Thick as Thieves) phoning it in This heist thriller suffers from too much mindless action but not as bad as the critics say. An mediocre time waster Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/14/24 Full Review Victoria D Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/14/23 Full Review Audience Member I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. Maybe there is not much of a plot, but the action is good and it's better than most of the action movies out recently. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Does the movie could have been done a little bit better I think it was a great concept and I expect it'll be perfect when it comes to my first-time director and this one did come from a first-time director so you have to give it a little bit of credit for that and in doing so I give it 4 stars and I really wish they could have made enough money to do the sequel because I really like to know what else happens in the movie as it ended on a cliffhanger Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member O filme é basicamente uma briga de gato e rato, no melhor estilo Tom e Jerry, em que a protagonista, Olga Kurylenko (linda diga-se de passagem), foge de tudo e de todos, só vai agradar aos fãs do gênero, eu gosto, principalmente por terem várias personagens femininas destemidas, forte e militares… E o desfecho, ahhh, o desfecho é muito bom… Gostei imensamente… Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review david j Tropish high speed thriller, took up 2 hours of quarantine. Acting was fine, no awards here, even Morgan was here to do 4 scenes and make a buck, didnt put anything into it. Purefoy the main bad guy was as one dimensional formulaic as you can get. This aint no Bourne complexity, the writing didnt leave me much to figure out ... but what really bugged me was the ending. She flys off with the drive evidence, no actual conversation with Freeman for him to figure it out with, aand credits. No payoff, no resolution ... nothing. I could have gone to bed earlier. Anton Bitel Sight & Sound this action thriller never stops moving (except when Olga Kurylenko's kickass heroine Alex has her leg literally caught in a vice), racing through its series of genre routines in the hope that speed alone can cover over any cracks. Nov 25, 2015 Full Review Mark Kermode Observer (UK) From the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers opening, through the Starsky & Hutch "gunfight in a warehouse" set-pieces, to the contractual-obligation shots of Kurylenko's bum, this is utter pants. Rated: 1/5 Nov 22, 2015 Full Review Kevin Maher Times (UK) Momentum is a strange husk of an action movie, one that contains all the right beats of a Hollywood contender, including a preposterous closing-reel set-up for an entire franchise to come, without a single moment of dramatic intrigue or credibility. Rated: 1/5 Nov 19, 2015 Full Review Dave McLaughlin One Room With A View The best thing about Momentum, this year's least anticipated political-gangster thriller, is its Stomp-style opening credit sequence. It gets a bit hammy after that. Rated: 2/5 Apr 17, 2019 Full Review Matthew Anderson CineVue [Has] a certain high-octane, flair but lacks the storyline to create a genuinely engaging thriller. Rated: 2/5 Apr 8, 2019 Full Review Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews Fast-paced but vacuous thriller. Rated: C Apr 16, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews
