Friends Allyson (Sarah Drew), Sondra (Patricia Heaton) and Izzy (Andrea Logan White) desperately need a short break from parenting duties and want to have a girls night together. However, in order for them to enjoy dressing up, adult conversation and dining on food served on real plates instead of in paper bags, they have to rely on their husbands to watch the children for three hours. Critics Consensus

Cheap-looking, unfunny, and kind of sexist to boot, Moms' Night Out is a disappointment from start to finish.

Mom's Night Out is a movie only a mother could love. Go to Full Review

If the concept of a moms' night out is premised on the notion that mothers can never get away for fear their families will collapse in their absence, then this movie cruelly confirms that fear. Go to Full Review

What ensues is frenetic and never as funny as it should be because directing brothers Andrew and Jon Erwin are not skilled enough at pacing the action and varying the volume. Go to Full Review

Bailey B. @baileybeckmoviebuff Dec 6 this movie was SO entertaining the script & acting was great. such a relatable movie for traditional families. it touched every genre with comedy, action, depth! i love the message about Jesus and his love. i appreciate that they didn’t portray him in a hokey religious way but in a real human, relationship w God way. i cried, i laughed, i was on the edge of my seat of what would happen next! SUCH A GOOD WATCH, and i want more movies with these writers!! UPDATE: i looked into the writers & it’s the ‘Erwin Brothers’ they’ve also wrote/directed ‘I can only imagine’ & ‘Jesus Revolution’ both movies that i LOVE & are so well executed w great casting. it checks out! their talent is amazing. that’s a gift from God right there 🤍 See more Evgeny V. Dec 4 The best movie ever. It has everything See more Acorns F Nov 28 We loved it - so much fun! Clean enough for the whole family to see but hilarious. We've watched it several times. See more Brittainy N Nov 12 Funny wholesome movie that the whole family can watch. Perfect for a mom movie night as well, the thought process of moms and juggling the anxiety of leaving our children alone came out chaotic yet fulfilling. Over the top and a bit laugh out loud at some moments. Nothing wrong with sitting and watching this. The message is being a parent is never a perfect process that we can control. See more Doubleboy @Kalax Aug 13 This movie is a perfect example of how women are. The main character in this movie is an unhappy woman. Despite the fact she has a great life. Good husband, great kids, financially stable, great neighborhood, good schools. Everything you could possibly want. But yet the wife is unhappy. Women just cannot get happy, they're always searching for more. So that's all this movie is, an unhappy woman who is looking for something to fill the boredom.
