Aysha E @Loserr Mar 31 It’s a conservative Christian mess which beats you over the head with gender roles. The whole movie is verry icky and heavily sexist. I hate how sondra didn’t want her teenage daughter to wear shorts like why did they just need to add a character policing another girls body it’s so weird and I hate how pathetic allysons (the ginger women) character was I mean for someone who juggles the whole house you wouldn’t think she’d crumble at the littlest things and sure you could say it’s her character she’s always stressed but they make her break down over like everything her character just feels like the embodiment of "oh I’m just a girl!" If you can look past the gender role reinforcement, I would recommend. Honestly it's a cleaner, less crude version of Bad Moms that still holds room to be funny (albeit even if your laughing at how bad it is). Don't worry, there's still inspirational Pinterest quotes, life lessons and heartwarming moments throughout the film that once again remind you that this is a anglo christian gem. While there are some flaws in the movie that are quite hard to forgive (acting choices, pacing, etc), its only an hour and a half. The perfect movie for when you're bored and in the mood for a cheesy flick. See more Bailey B. @baileybeckmoviebuff Dec 6 this movie was SO entertaining the script & acting was great. such a relatable movie for traditional families. it touched every genre with comedy, action, depth! i love the message about Jesus and his love. i appreciate that they didn’t portray him in a hokey religious way but in a real human, relationship w God way. i cried, i laughed, i was on the edge of my seat of what would happen next! SUCH A GOOD WATCH, and i want more movies with these writers!! Perfect for a mom movie night as well, the thought process of moms and juggling the anxiety of leaving our children alone came out chaotic yet fulfilling. Over the top and a bit laugh out loud at some moments. Nothing wrong with sitting and watching this. The message is being a parent is never a perfect process that we can control.
