Audience Member Fabulous documentary short centering on the women who run and visit a Long Island Salon. One Monday a month, sisters Rachel and Cynthia offer free services to ladies battling cancer. These sessions are a form of therapy, as treatment of the illness obliterates so much associated with femininity. A brutally raw look at the experiences of some of these strong women - and the stylists who open their door - and hearts - to them. Very, very good - but have the tissues handy - I was in tears within minutes -- a great watch when you think you're having a bad day! 4 1/2+ stars Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member If you have ever known someone close who died of cancer, this movie will move you and remember them. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member My pic for best documentary short film is great in different ways. They only focus on one of the husbands really, but their quiet strength in the face of a frightening family situation is what lifts this film as my choice over four other worthy nominees.
