Badhan S Moner Manush beautifully captures the life and philosophy of Lalon Shah, blending his poetic spirit with a journey of self-discovery. With powerful performances and a soulful soundtrack, it’s a deeply moving film that explores love, spirituality, and human connection—truly worth every second. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/13/24 Full Review Audience Member Totally rotten! Very unfortunate, Goutom Ghosh just got rotten by himself as well as made some other prominent artists like Prosenjit, Raisul Islam Asad, Chanchal Chowdhury, Bibi RAsel etc to share this rotten thing on their good name! Just an X rated film in the name of biography of Lalon. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member The movie is about a poet and singer Lalon Fakir but you can feel a whole another world around you after watching this movie. The whole movie concept makes you think different characters of mans around you. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Its really a superb movie. You need to see it in a cool mind. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member incredibly epic film and all the Lalon Geeti were awesomely performed as well. Best bangla film I've watched so far :D Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Saw this on DVD last night and it's an authentic piece of cinema for sure. The story revolves around an Indian rural cult singer, Lalon Fakir, which was genuinely and touchingly performed by Prasenjit Chatterjee. Lalon's philosophy is freeing in the sense he and his songs preach about rising above the Hindu-Muslim sectarian prejudices and regard people as people. The film has subtitles, so I'd recommend it to anyone who's into the history of social prejudice. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews
