Lucy Mangan Guardian There is a great sense of opportunities missed rather than answers found. Rated: 3/5 Nov 6, 2024 Full Review Stephen Silver The SS Ben Hecht I can’t determine whether Hoback got this right, but I liked that the film avoids the mistake of most past documentaries about crypto Nov 8, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Natalia S Before watching, I only had a vague understanding of Bitcoin and mining, and I never imagined the scale and complexity of this network. The film does an excellent job of explaining how the system functions and raises important questions about who truly holds power in this digital world. It was fascinating to learn how digital currency operates outside the traditional banking system. The film makes the topic accessible even to those unfamiliar with technology. I gained an understanding of the essence of cryptocurrency. But I became even more curious about who is behind it all. Could one person or a relatively small group of like-minded individuals overturn the entire financial structure of the world in an instant? What are they striving for, and what ideas do they pursue? Highly recommended for anyone interested in understanding the digital currency revolution, regardless of their technical background. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/30/24 Full Review Valerii Ege D I just wanted to learn a little bit more about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, especially the mysterious Satoshi Nakamoto. I learned about Bitcoin's history, but overall, it is a boring documentary. Particularly the last 30 minutes were really boring and a bit unnecessary. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/27/24 Full Review P N This documentary was based on speculation rather than any solid proof. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/26/24 Full Review Brent K 10/10. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. I've been crypto & bitcoin curious for about 7 years— this film excels at telling the story of its origins and the mystery of Satoshi (Bitcoin's "founder"). My opinion is that there are a LOT of bitcoin fans/cultists who *want* Satoshi to remain unidentified, but I think Hoback is correct to raise the question : What happens if Satoshi were to cash out and become, suddenly, the world's richest person? My only complaint is that I wish it were longer (a full season, like The Tiger King), as there's so much more here to explore and uncover. Still, it's the best documentary on Bitcoin I've ever seen. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/21/24 Full Review Carl M. G Yet another garbage speculation documentary about Satoshi. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/20/24 Full Review SQUIRRELZILLA P I have to say. This is one of the most well, detailed, fascinating, and thought provoking documentaries I’ve seen in a long time. Bravo everyone involved. Highly recommend seeing this. Wow. On so many levels. 🤘 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/20/24 Full Review Read all reviews
