11/18/2014 Saw ' Moneyrathnam ' - directed by debutant Santhosh Nair.It follows the usual patterns of a road movie which is used in recent released malayalam films. Story taking place in a 24 hr period & showing 3 / more lives in the same period has become an usual subject for filmmakers recently, especially for the debutantes.Lack of freshness holds back this film.First half not up to the level.Second half wasn't bad.That stunt scenes showing the power of fahad could've been avoided.There wasn't much good comedies. Direction good. BGM not bad.Actors did their job nicely. Fahad's charismatic acting made the film less boring .Niveda Thomas also tried her best with her refreshing face to make this film a passable one. So,its the second half of the film which made it at-least a passable one. My rating:2.5/5 , 2.5 is more than enough for this average flick. See more Read all reviews
