Compared to the book it was very disappointing. I don't see the great acting everyone is talking about. I showed this my class after we finished the book. The stereotypically predictable Hollywood casting choices really hurt the story and believability of the the main character. The character is far more interesting and nuanced then portrayed in this terrible film. The whole class was disappointed by the way the film adapted the book.

Uses incredible camera work and colour design. This movie makes you reflect upon how you view others and on if you were to make the tough decisions made in this film, what way you would have leaned. It makes you question your own morals and beliefs; Therefore I must award it with five stars, stunning movie.

This movie is not just another court-room drama, despite the number of people who mistakenly think so. It has a very strong point which does relate to court-room drama, even as portrayed in most court-room drama movies, but it goes well beyond that, too. These are important social issues, excellently portrayed as food-for-thought in this film. Bon appétite!

Dramma giudiziario che segue l'onda di questo sottogenere che ha avuto grande successo negli ultimi anni. Il ritratto del protagonista è ben eseguito e anche il contesto ed i rapporti che intrattiene con gli altri personaggi sono dettagliati e chiari. L'utilizzo dei flashback sui montaggi dei suoi filmati sono troppo utilizzati e specie nella prima parte rallentano troppo il ritmo; alcuni passaggi non sono chiarissimi ma l'obiettivo principale di tenere sulle spine fino all'ultimo secondo è perfettamente riuscito.
