Her's is the song of the everywoman, full of frailties and with courage tested in the face of life's anxieties and failures. The movie itself is courageous, determined not to sell out to dramatic rescues of the heroine. So that we are given a real and deep character study, more real in art terms than so many formula movies. She's the friend who exasperates because you want her to do a little better and be a little more together, and who you desperately want to succeed and are terrified she won't See more 06/01/2020 The main characters are very good, the way life goes on in her life is very suggestive, and funny it keeps you up.
