IlCreatoreN5 B so far the best of these little animated films, snowblind turned out to be the highlight. An alternative universe completely overturned by one of the most underrated villains in the history of video games is finally being taken seriously, with the return of his henchmen, some of them iconic, including one directly taken from the spin-off video game Special Forces. in an era where the message is constantly put before the plot, in snowbling we find the old formula of narrative mode, a classic I dare say, that is, the so-called hero's journey. Smooth and linear plot although perhaps for those who haven't played the eleventh chapter it might be slightly strange, and let's not stop here, the film has excellent graphics, solid and well-structured animations that leave room for some nice fight sequences and scenes of disembowelments and bloody killings. If Warner Bros stays with this strategy, I'm sure that the next films will also be extremely enjoyable. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/04/24 Full Review Bonz N It was kind of slow and confusing at first but when it kicks into gear it's full throttle. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/24 Full Review KING T This movie blinded me because of the epic fight scenes. More battles and more blood. It just felt like a sequel to something, which is the reason for the rating. Stephen Wilds ComingSoon.net I’m a fan of telling different stories, giving us alternative takes on the Mortal Kombat lore, or expanding on characters that are never going to get the love they need in the games. In that regard, I love what Snow Blind did and hope we get more. Rated: 7.5/10 Nov 30, 2022 Full Review Brian Costello Common Sense Media No one expects subtlety from a Mortal Kombat movie, but the story itself functions just fine without so much slicing and dicing. Rated: 3/5 Oct 26, 2022 Full Review Sam Stone CBR The latest Mortal Kombat Legends animated film, Snow Blind, narrows the narrative focus while maintaining the bloody action. Oct 17, 2022 Full Review Charles Solomon FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) If you like the game then I guess it's fun, but it's all very superficial and the animated gore isn't even convincing. Oct 14, 2022 Full Review Brittany Vincent IGN Movies It's a color-by-numbers apocalyptic thriller with a shiny new Mortal Kombat paint job. Some of Kenshi's story beats are satisfying, and it's refreshing to see a character that doesn't get much screen time shine for a bit. Rated: 6/10 Oct 6, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews
