I’m a fan of telling different stories, giving us alternative takes on the Mortal Kombat lore, or expanding on characters that are never going to get the love they need in the games. In that regard, I love what Snow Blind did and hope we get more. Go to Full Review

No one expects subtlety from a Mortal Kombat movie, but the story itself functions just fine without so much slicing and dicing. Go to Full Review

The latest Mortal Kombat Legends animated film, Snow Blind, narrows the narrative focus while maintaining the bloody action. Go to Full Review

If you like the game then I guess it's fun, but it's all very superficial and the animated gore isn't even convincing. Go to Full Review

It's a color-by-numbers apocalyptic thriller with a shiny new Mortal Kombat paint job. Some of Kenshi's story beats are satisfying, and it's refreshing to see a character that doesn't get much screen time shine for a bit. Go to Full Review

Nathan J. @NathanDirector 1d Rated: 8/10 ⭐️ I expected a standard tournament adaptation, but the gritty setting and emotional depth blew me away. What Worked: The Mad Max-style wasteland aesthetic gives the R-rated combat a tactile weight. Through my Faith Methodism lens, seeing Kuai Liang mentor Kenshi reminds me that true grace means guiding the next generation. Ehrenreich’s editing and the heavy score also give the blind fight sequences a super dynamic flow. The Cuts: The middle really dragged for me; desert wandering and training montages stall the momentum. Keeping it spoiler-free, using classic Black Dragon members just for quick fodder leaves the villains feeling half-baked. Plus, suddenly introducing alternate timelines feels super rushed and disjointed from the grounded wasteland vibe. Verdict: A striking survival story. Perfect for a gritty take on classic fighters, but skip if you want a standard tournament plot. Line: “My name is Kenshi Takahashi.” See more Drew M. @Stonehands211 2d This one was a lot of fun I thought. A little confusing figuring out what it is they’re trying to do with this one but once you get your grip on it figure out it’s a one off in the series it was a lot more fun. The western Scorpion saying “Get Over Here” Ala Clint Eastwood it frickin’ rules. Buen ritmo, con el nivel de animación que ya venían teniendo, historia simple pero bien llevada por personajes bien desarrollados (especialmente el protagonista y su mentor). Me dejo mas que conforme.
