Noel Murray Los Angeles Times A feather-light thriller that adds nothing new to the "gather a group of friends and kill them off one by one" genre. Though slickly produced and competently acted, the movie mostly just follows a formula. May 12, 2016 Full Review Emma Wolfe SpookyAstronauts It's very stereotyped and it's very cheesy to me. Rated: 1/10 Apr 28, 2021 Full Review Joey Keogh Wicked Horror An absolute delight from start to finish, [Most Likely to Die is] smart, fun, scary and very funny. Rated: 7/10 Oct 2, 2019 Full Review C.H. Newell Father Son Holy Gore With a few flaws, Most Likely To Die is a fun, furious slasher for the 20-somethings of today with plenty of blood and a slick script from Laura Brennan. Rated: 3.5/5 May 3, 2019 Full Review Zach Hollwedel Under the Radar We don't like these characters. We don't connect with them. And we don't give a darn if any of them live ... the sooner they die, the sooner we arrive at the mercy of the end credits. Rated: 2/10 May 27, 2016 Full Review Matt Donato We Got This Covered Most Likely To Die evokes all the regrettable moments of high school slashers, and none of the fun. Audience Member This is definitely not an A list movie. However, I really enjoyed the plot and script. If they make a Most Likely to Die 2 I will definitely be buying it as well Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review steve d Passable slasher with a decent script. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Review: ‘Most Likely to Die' is a slasher film directed by Anthony DiBlasi. There is nothing original here, a movie you will forget and regret watching within hours of watching it. The same old classic slasher film clichés spit out on the screen once again. The plot follows a group of former classmates gather for a pre-party at one of their homes the night before their 10-year high school reunion, and one by one, they are brutally slain in a manner befitting each's senior yearbook superlative. Like I said about the characters, none of them were fleshed out at all. The acting was just garbage. Let me just say that the best character in this movie is played by Perez Hilton... enough said. Literally his character is the reason this movie is even getting a star. I don't know anybody in this movie well beside Jake Busey and he is in it for maybe 60 seconds of screen time. It's filled with unintelligent and straight up stupid dialogue, it's horrible! This movie fails to create any suspense, so whenever one of the characters get killed you simply couldn't care less. You will literally not care about one single character in this movie. But, there is something beautiful about how bad this film is. The writers have completely failed setting the atmosphere of this movie, you can see where it is going right from the start. Also, the plot twist is ridiculous and could very well be one of the dumbest I have ever seen. This film has a laughable ending. The visual effects were just god awful. I would say that it felt like a bunch of friends got this idea to make a horror movie and got a location, and a budget and just went for it, but that was done before and it's great! It's called The Evil Dead. Overall, this movie is your casual, boring slasher horror film, which brings absolutely nothing new to the horror genre, but it will not be forgotten. 1.5/5 Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Perez Hilton was the absolute highlight of this movie, which is...honestly kind of sad. The cast of Most Likely to Die has about as much skill as the cast of a 9th grade school play. The film also spends a substantial chunk of its runtime providing unnecessary backstory and forcing the characters to partake in pseudo-emotional conversations. In theory, these aspects should allow us to develop empathy for the characters, but instead I find myself wishing I hadn't wasted my time watching this movie. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member The greatest movie ever made, the hat tricks in this movie are simply dazzling Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member It's a slasher movie, and fits the format too neatly for some, but other than being true to form it's a reasonable jaunt into the genre. It's got the usual collection of characters (who never actually would have been friends in High School) with the usual inconsistencies in the plot, and the usual mediocre acting, but hey, that's what I watch these for. I say enjoy it for what kit is: slasher schlock without being slasher porn. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews
