Exploiting a quirk in a scholarship fund, a woman pushing middle age ends up attending college. Widow Abby Abbott (Loretta Young) is stunned to learn that the cash set aside for her daughter's education is about to run dry, so she wrangles a setup that allows them both to enroll in classes.
