M M I really liked this movie. Make fun of it, call it what you want, but I really like the campy feel of it. Evelyn is a real wacko, but that makes the whole movie. Between the creepy dolls and roaches, it really reminds you of those dump motels you dread and avoid. The music and creepy atmosphere really add to the movie! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/30/23 Full Review michael b Good Movie,Very Much Recommend this Movie.😀😀😀😀 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Mountaintop Hotel Massacre is a good throwback drive-in slasher cult classic horror film of all time and it's fun to enjoy it if you're a true independent horror fan you gonna loved it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/19/20 Full Review Audience Member Classic 80's psycho horror movie! A must see for a true horror movie fan. A pretty good low budget B movie Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review jonathan m Mountaintop motel as it was originally called when it was purchased they changed its name to the mountaintop motel Massacre which sounds better I must add. So picture this you're standing in a mall cinema (chopping mall haha) in 1986 your deciding what to see next you see the poster for mountaintop motel Massacre and instantly you want to go and see Crazy Evelyn..... Sadly you will be disappointed she looks nothing like the poster.... the movies not bad I have to say it has a creepy atmosphere and the three song soundtrack is one of the most creepiest I've ever heard in my life I thought the plot was ok it's just the death scenes we're a little bit unbelievabl...... I mean cockroaches!! The main character Evelyn played by Anna was amazing, he daughter was also amazing.... sadley it was the remainder of the cast who let it fall like a pancake..... and they're the ones with experience The death scenes seem very odd and a bit stupid but when you think about where Evelyn has just come from they kind of make a lot more sense. I'd love to see a remake but with more meat .... it's a great movie just needs work. My professional view for this movie is 3 out of 10 it definitely has something but I can't recommend it. My personal view you for this movie is 6 out of ten I just like it , I see the potential. C.H. Newell Father Son Holy Gore Many elements McCullough sets up throughout his story are admirable. Yet there's a deeper sense of disappointment because of that. Rated: 2.5/5 May 1, 2019 Full Review Emanuel Levy EmanuelLevy.Com Rated: 2/5 Oct 3, 2005 Full Review Read all reviews
